Firstly I’d like to review this as a film itself, separate from how it depicts Marilyn. I thought the cinematography would save it but as a film it’s incredibly pretentious, overuses filters and tricks like a film school freshman, and is so choppy and poorly executed I’m BAFFLED it’s getting any good reviews at all.
