  i was not expecting to laugh so much, to then be left completely devastated by the ending. i’m still recovering. everyone in this was so fucking good. sean baker gets it.

  unfortunately as an anglophone with limited french understanding watching this in a french theatre with french subtitles i missed some of the russian dialogue, mais c’est la vie. might have to watch again if i can muster up the courage.

  i felt like it dragged a bit at some points, but it still worked. and then it just kept going!!! and i’m glad it did!! a completely insane bonkers movie. demi moore and margaret qualley are both phenomenal, the sound design and fx team did an incredible job, and i thought the ending was perfect. it is not subtle at all when it comes to the subject matter, which i think was necessary, and i think everyone should see this. i had so much fun.
