  In different hands, this could have easily been bad in so many different ways. The concept on paper isn’t super novel, in fact I can think of a few movies whose portrayal of/statement on sex work is straight up embarrassing after watching this (ahem, Poor things).
  Restraint is hard to find these days, yet this movie wields a relaxed and confident power that never once felt unearned. (I’ve always thought it takes a lot of confidence to have conversation scenes…
