  Not sure I've seen a film from this era be so philosophically bleak. Despite the ending this movie is dark through and through. He can't get away from work in any aspect of his life. This movie walked so Taxi Driver could run. If it had been made 15 years later it probably would have had a much darker ending than the schmaltzy conclusion we got.

  Could not even make it halfway through this pandering slop. I thought people were exaggerating but no this really is the WORST best picture Oscar winner by a huge margin.

  Honestly I never really thought of Darren Aronofsky as one of my favorite directors, but every film of his that I've seen I have absolutely loved, and Black Swan is probably his best one. I'm a little sad I waited so long to see this.
