It's good, it's fun & Mickey is phenomenal but that's all, I just don't get the hype about the “ GREATNESS ” of this movie.

When emotion works, that film will be remembered even though it's not some great cinematic masterpiece. I feel the same way for this film, this has its flaws & goes downhill after the midpoint but some lovely moments between the primary characters are too good to make this a worthy film.

I have too much respect for Ranbir to call this his best performance, but it's one of his best for sure. Sound & music are outstanding, action blocks are great. Some moments in the film are absolutely beautiful with both the technical brilliance & emotionally charged protagonist performing at his best. That TriptiDimri's role & the subplot that comes with it is rubbish & it crippled the film not once but twice.Didn't think I would say this but the father-son dysfunctional relationship relied more on Ranbir…

Media serving their fascist masters, softening the blows by blaming the victims and strengthening their punches by working an angle on anything they could use in their favour, all while deluding themselves and others that they are doing these things for the "Greater Good".

Now where have I seen this ? Hmmm🤔Oh yeah, it's been happening in my country (India) for the last 10 years !!

Great writing, for example the scene where the editor explains why he wants his employee to replace "Unemployed & desperate " with "Immigrant" is perfect & brilliant way to expose how indirect propaganda works.
