    Surprisingly less bloody than I remembered, but also pretty scary and haunting, with a nightmarish second half and a scream queen of an actress belting out her potent voice in the horror she found herself into. A great movie in all honesty, with some visually great shots, the editing making everything looking unhinged and claustrophobic.

    I don't really know where to start, so I think I'll cut to the chase: it's a bizarre, quirky film that doesn't make any sense, doesn't have a confident tone and it's a flick that comes and goes without making noise. I found myself fascinated by it, tho, merely because of the presence of Rosanna Arquette and her manic pixie dream girl character and David Bowie's mysterious persona.

    I'm logging this when there's 15 minutes left, I don't care. Boooooooring as fuck, with some of the worst cinematography I've ever seen. Sure, David Howard Thornton is fun and there's at least one gnarly kill, but oh my God NOTHING else happens beside Art the Clown going around mauling people (why does he even use guns, what's the point of that?). It's really a nothingburger of a movie, so I'm hoping the sequels can show SOME kind of story
