  A beautiful movie from a creator I have been following for over a decade. This one has stuck with me far longer than the credit roll. I love its universe and kinetic wild energy behind every beautifully animated frame of this film.
  I can't wait to see it again, this time in its native language.
  I don't know how notable this movie will be for audiences at large, it feels like its slipped under the radar, but I will love this one and hold it in my heart forever.

  THIS IS THE ONLY SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN WHERE THE MAIN CHARACTER IS A TRANS PERSON
  I've seen some ensemble pieces that'd had trans characters but every moment of Stop!! Hibari-kun! is about Hibari and she's perfect.

  Some of Stop!! Hibari-kun! has not aged well, but Hibari herself shines through space and time. Every fit she has is immaculate, every challenge she throws herself out she conquers. I love seeing Hibari win, it's so cathartic and empowering.
