Much like the first movie, I'd personally have enjoyed it more if it were just about Riley's life, her struggles. Also like the first movie, I'm sure that it will help kids express more complicated emotions.
I think overall, it holds the metaphor together a little better, and feels like it reflects the nuance and complexity of self and emotion more than the first one. Hopefully that language and metaphor will be useful for a lot of people.
