jason takes a shitty boat. this one's just actively not good for many reasons. the movie's ugly as hell, the costume design's bad, the characters are boring, the acting is underwhelming, and the plot is laughably bad. i don't have much else to say, other than that i hope the next one is better.

Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives 1986
i'd say this is probably my favorite of the jason films at least in terms of cinematography and writing. while the practical effects aren't as special as some of the prior movies, the camera work and shot structure are much better and are a lot more coherent than prior films.
