  went into this not knowing a whole lot, saoirse roanan is a powerhouse, i think i want to disappear of the face of the earth and live in a tiny cabin by the sea!!

  i went in thinking i would fall head over heels in love with this movie and i was left wanting more... i think barry as a protagonist is interesting but i couldnt fully invest in his whole story. needs a rewatch at some point, pta is incapable of making anything that doesnt look beautiful and adam sandlers performance is undeniably impressive, but i wasn't fully sold :/
