  In the Heights 2021

  Lin Manuel Miranda can do no wrong in my eyes, this film is awesome. A film that's over two hours but flies by very fast. The musical numbers here are easily the best parts with some of the standouts being Pacienca y Fe, 96000 and In the Heights. The performances are also really good especially from a lot of actors who aren't well known. I haven't seen the original show so maybe my score would change with that knowledge but overall, a great way to kick off the summer. If you're even slightly considering it, watch this movie. You won't regret it

  Freaky 2020

  This film caught my attention as soon as I saw the trailer: Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn in a horror comedy version of Freaky Friday, directed by the guy who made Happy Death Day. Sign me up.
  While This film is not as funny or clever as Happy Death Day it still delivers on the premise, humor and especially the gore.
