  Absolutely incredible. So awesome to see a flick firing on all cylinders like this. The music is at 11, the lighting is at 11, the acting is at 11. Just excess at every turn. The kills are wild in this, way more violent than I would have expected for 77. Despite being deeply expressionist, there’s enough emotional grounding, in huge part due to Jessica Harper’s performance, to lead the audience through some batshit sets and storylines without getting lost. Just a full on great movie.
