Fun, charming and overtly political! We won!
Think this sci-fi world is well defined and clearly rendered. Even better all this is achieved without the film feeling too exposition heavy. This is perhaps because the characters and their circumstances are genuinely compelling. Also strangely believable.
Great casting and performances. Really adored Naomi Ackie and thought the love between Nash and Mickey went a long way to grounding the film. Pattinson is endearing and the interplay between 17 and 18 works…

Brilliant film made under extraordinary circumstances!
The way the regime is contextualised almost exclusively through scenes with just the central family is amazing. There are some really satisfying moments in this film, things that make you want to stand up and cheer.
