It’s quite amazing to think that this film and ‘Happy Birthday to Me’ came out in the same year. Both films are kind of similar, however Madhouse lacks the creative deaths of HBTM.

All in all a fun watch that I’ll definitely come back to in the future.

A quick heads up that if you don’t like violence to (obviously fake) animals you may want to give this one a miss.

Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2

Considering half this film (or is it more?) is a full rehash of the first movie, it’s still a fun ‘so bad it’s good’ movie.

I know that most people quote “Garbage day”, from this one, but I especially love “uh oh” from Jennifer once she stops yelling at Ricky and realises he’s coming after her next after he kills her ex-boyfriend.

Still the greatest Star Wars film bar none.

It’s really tough to get invested in a film that doesn’t have one single likeable character, and said characters make perhaps the dumbest decisions I think I’ve ever seen in a movie. Hear me out. I know for a horror movie to work, some dumb decisions have to be made, but the stupidity in this film is almost insulting.

The only saving grace is watching a bus load of social media influencers meet their end by chainsaw.

I’m sure if you’re a fan you’ll have a good time with this movie, but if you want to watch a fun TCM sequel, watch TCM2 instead.
