  You never really get to see what the ring literally does that's so powerful. It makes you invisible, but the trade off is that you are transported to a wispy world full of yelling ghouls. What a ride !!!

  The Orks have every possible advantage, including the fact that they can birth full grown soldiers who are ready to fight right away from a muddy sac. Plus they are absolutely berserker. I honestly could not believe that they lost.

  Watched this one with Will. Felt bad for David Spade. What an unfunny guy. Though he clearly inspired that smarmy gen x humor that everyone used to do ("Umm, ok.... looks like I interrupted happy time!"). Chris Farley can do no wrong. Like watching a painter. Even when he's nailing a sad scene, he makes you laugh. He even manages to deliver cliches in a way that makes me laugh ("That's gonna leave a mark!"). Masterclass

  Hard to Be a God 2013

  I didn't get one second of the plot of this movie. But the vibe was very strong, and the formal idea was unlike anything I've seen before. So I was happy to endure the whole thing. Seeing all those people so close to each other, shooting respiratory droplets in each other's faces, and sharing greasy soups, reminded me of what things used to be like before Covid. Hope it's over soon.
