  This movie bombed in its theater run but that was due to terrible promotion. 

  But it’s a good movie that luckily found its audience later.

  Very good film. 

  A little too cute at the beginning but it settles down and it’s a very well written drama. 

  And it has a great soundtrack.

  Tim Robbins was at the height of his powers in 1994 and Meg Ryan was the queen of Rom-coms, so it must have seemed natural to have them be in a movie together. 

  This is a movie about a guy faking being a physicist but it’s also a movie faking that they have chemistry. 

  There are some fun bits like the scene where Einstein and his friends help the Tim Robbins cheat on an intelligence test.

  Also, Tony Shaloub is a delight. 

  I think what really sours me is the use of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star as the theme music of the movie.
