  Gosh I love when a film set looks so practical and alive.
  A tale of betrayal from mostly judas' pov is exactly what this film is. 
  it spirals out of control into a manhunt and closes out with a sour taste and an inevitable leap.
  I loved this.
  The scene in the funhouse as he's going on about their plan and the white people go from amused to shocked and determined is so well done

  I always wondered what drew people to naming this as their top 4 but i think i quite understand now.
  This film is uncomfortable but not for anything graphic or weird, just for how real it feels and how personal it feels.
  Cassavetes manages to transport us into the minds of each character with the extreme close ups and off screen action. It is executed perfectly.
  Gena Rowlands is amazing in this just down right fantastic.

  Emilia Perez, while not as bad as people who haven’t seen it will lead you to believe, is a misguided, confusing, strangely-written musical.
