I’m glad I gave this a shot despite the wave of negative comments circling around it during Oscar season.
Emilia Pérez is undeniably bizarre, especially with its musical sequences, which mostly come across as overblown. Some parts, particularly in the second half, seemed unnecessary and made the overall experience less impactful.
