several bad decisions were made and harder to watch than the gore (that’s a lie, half of the time i was hiding behind ellen and the other half i used self-soothing techniques to stop my body from reacting too harshly… i kinda loved it and had a great time?? but i WILL NOT put myself through that ordeal again)

somewhere in the middle the plot lost me for some time, but I still couldn’t look away from its mesmerising and dreamlike cinematography. i also have to remove half a star for the prime example of the male gaze in the masturbating scenes because, what was that?!
