  A badass zombie horror comedy from Australia.  “Undead” offers very cool shoot-em-up sequences, two badass lead characters, awesome gore, solid zombie makeup FX and a very different kind of storyline for a zombie movie.  You’ll have fun with this one.  Currently available on Tubi.  Grade: B.

  Open Water 2: Adrift 2006

  ★★★½ Watched 12 Mar 2025

  There’s no sharks this time around but it’s still an enjoyable movie.  It’s technically its own movie since it was originally written before the first “Open Water” came out.  I had a good time watching it and I especially loved the unintentionally hilarious crying scene with the person who caused this whole ordeal to happen.  The moral of this movie: Unfriend the friend who offers you a yacht trip and says they’re rich.  And NEVER bring an infant child with you.  The people in this movie are absolutely stupid.  But nevertheless, it’s a well shot and well acted production out at sea.  Grade: B.
