  it’s been three years since the last time i watched this movie. if you ask me what my top 3 favorites are, big fish will always be included. yet, i’ve only seen it three times, and never on my own. 

  i think this movie means so much to me because i am able to see so much of myself, but also of those who i love, in it. mi mamá siempre ha llamado a mi papá “el gran pez”, y siempre pienso en él cuando edward bloom habla de su potencial, de su tamaño, de su destino. 

  i love this movie.

  i can’t even express how incredible this movie is— i started crying with the first letter back from Vera and didn’t stop until after leaving the cinema. this is, and i don’t say this lightly, a perfect movie.
