everyone's talking abt his "good girl" but the true highlight in my opinion is the third time he asks her to get down on her knees. power is everything in sex, sex is power, love is power, desperation is power, vulnerability is power, every single piece of power they can grab onto or let go of goes into that, and holy fuck that scene of samuel dancing and the scene of romy saying she isn't beautiful. might change rating on a rewatch but for now!! literally was a blast to watch, and i watched it with my dad (a tennis player + fanatic) (he didn’t fall asleep a SINGLE TIME!!!) and now that goddamn score is gonna start playing in my sleep. i haven’t giggled this much in a while
also i was so lucky to be able to watch this in theaters in brazil cause no where else will there just be a guy yelling…
