James Mangold continues the Music Cinematic Universe (the MCU if you will) that he began with 2006’s Walk The Line, where Johnny Cash is the Tony Stark of this universe. Cant wait for the Joan Baez spinoff and the Woody Guthrie prequel series.

RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop 2023
Incredibly in depth and well put together documentary that is nearly 5 hours spent on one movie, yet never drags and is always engaging. Everything from the main title to the music to the editing is kinetic and entertaining, and the robust assortment of cast and crew present was impressive.
I’m all in on a new trend of multi-part documentaries for classic movies. Let’s keep pumping them out while all those involved can contribute!

X 2022
Watched with A24 Screening Room
It's interesting that Jenna Ortega appears in both Scream and X. She is great in both, of course, but what's interesting is how one of these movies is so overtly obsessed with deconstructing it's subgenre (to the point of cringe worthy absurdity), while the other remains simple while shaking things up just enough to keep you guessing. X is fun, gory and, while it's not reinventing the wheel, it feels original in a way slashers haven't felt since the early 80's.Translated from by -
