One of life’s greatest joys, and many’s greatest hardship: food. From our first meal to its last, Tampopo shows it all.
Coming from a family with a… complicated relationship with food, Tampopo sticks out to me as what food should be about, bringing joy to others in the act of providing for another, and the joy brought to self by honing and improving your craft.
I’m still looking for my ladder, and lord knows I’ve been stuck on this wrung for a while, but Tampopo tells me, you’ve got this, keep climbing! The summit is worth it!
