The plot is pretty threadbare, but the gags are hilarious. Diaz and Applegate looked like they were having a blast making this.

Terror's Advocate 2007
Fascinating albeit overwhelming documentary about one of the most famous/infamous attorneys of the mid-century.
Director Barber Schroeder is an auteur that I find fascinating. Often overlooked, and directs a wide variety of genres, his defining characteristic is his obsession with morally opaque protagonists.
I will admit the film dumps a lot of information pertaining to the complex web of revolutionary espionage of the Cold War. This might alienate anyone who doesn’t possess any background info on the subject. Still, there’s something very eye catching of Verges “arrogant-bastard” bravado he puts on.
