PSH is great, but the movie has really dated, as the true crime genre has developed substantially over the last 20 years. As a result it feels like this movie doesn’t cover that much ground in comparison

The 39 Steps 1935
Truly a crazy watch in 2024. Every conceivable spy thriller trope is in this movie, because it was made in 1935 and basically invented all of them. If any movie used them now, it would be seen immediately as hokey or parody; in fact, as a millennial I've mostly been exposed to these tropes through 90's Nickelodeon cartoons referencing old classics. Still holds up- like its titular character, a movie with unflinching focus and intensity. Also a nice surprise to see a small queer element to the movie that doesn’t have the same tinge of derision or assumed weakness I would expect from a movie in the 70s
