In Cold Blood is a thrilling movie about 2 hatefully likeable... friends(?) who go on the run after committing a murder. The film poses the question 'why?' numerous times, and the answer is refreshingly simple and realistic; there is no real reason they chose to kill the Cutters. Yes, there is past anger and paternal resentment, but at the end of the day, it was just a freakish act of circumstance.
