  The Man Who Killed Don Quixote 2018

  I enjoyed it slightly more on a second watch, but it is still a disappointing affair. I have warmed to Gilliam more and more of late so I do want to get more out of it but it is hard to find the necessary apologetics. Perhaps the film was best as an unmade one where it was as good as our imaginations.

  Robert Eggers world of Nordic excess. A pleasing experience in the right cinematic environment, even if it may not amount to all that much.
