Hmm… am I a bit underwhelmed?? Was actually hoping it’d get more twisted. Don’t think my slightly foggy-hungover brain could generate enough compassion to really care about this guy so the stakes didn’t feel that high

Poor Things 2023
Wow wow so imaginative and unique loved it ! Clearly so much thought and creativity behind every aspect, unarguably well made. Overall world-building was v well done and original too, I loved the costumes and sets sm. Also wasn’t expecting it to be so funny !!! Mark Ruffalo was a surprising highlight. Feeling a lil conflicted after reading peoples issues with the plot/themes but will just ignore all that for now I think. Happily hike up the stars on a rewatch.
