One of the only movies that I could non-hyperbolically call perfect. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are obviously the stand outs but there’s not a single weak link in this cast. And even then they’re one-upped by Michael Gondry. Who somehow still manages to be one-upped himself by Charlie Kaufman. Like, seriously, this is a career best script from a screenwriter who has pretty much only delivered “career bests”

Sometimes I feel like a crazy person when watching this film. While there's any number of movies out there on which my opinion differs considerably from that of general audiences, there's no other movie that I love this much while also being this reviled by critics and audiences upon release.
