RGV is a rebel with no respect for the viewers! He doesn’t hesitate to create harsh settings without any sugar coating and makes the audience go through it. After knowing him as a person for so many years, it becomes very easy to find his signature in this movie. The editing is almost rude and has no mercy at places. Loved the movie!

The setup felt a little slow but slowly caught pace. Music and cinematography were the highlights! Loved the innovative usage of small spaces and framing. First half could be better paced.

Longlegs 2024
Eerily silent and symmetrical, the frames are monochromatic and you’ll rarely have to shift your gaze. Wasn’t very impressed with the story, would’ve loved to go deeper into the intentions and motives of the events which I feel would’ve made it more scary and disturbing. Reminded me of The Killing of a Sacred Deer for some reason. Was distracted from the silence of the movie from the irrelevant commentaries from the audience at the theatre, would prefer watching these kind of movies alone :(

The Pursuit of Happyness 2006
Inspirational and emotional. I like how this movie takes enough time to let the emotions and the feeling set in before resolution. The ending was known but still feels good and warm. Will Smith was truly amazing!
