Let the Right One In 2008
Undoubtedly the best vampire film I've seen.
Horrific in all the non-cliche ways, Let the Right One In makes you feel like you're watching a coming-of-age tale, but sprinkles unsettling and grotesque circumstances throughout.
If you're anything like me, you will find yourself feeling heart-warmed and happy during moments you really should not.
Seriously...I mean moments you really, really should not.

Prisoners 2013
Intense and tightly woven script.
I never thought camera shots of a sub-division would make me uneasy.
Besides a few irrational character decisions...well maybe a handful of irrational decisions, this film felt flawless.Terrific acting. Paul Dano continues to make me more and more uncomfortable. Seriously, between this and There Will Be Blood he's one of the most underrated, frightening actors out there.
At this very moment, I am on edge thinking I might be kidnapped.
Or that an RV is parked outside my house...be right back.Translated from by
