  Fantastic cinematography with many well-framed and dynamic long takes - which I loved. I was totally on board the first couple of hours, and it's absurd humor gave me a few laughs. But ultimately as a whole the film did not come together in a satisfying way, and the last hours felt anti-climactic.   I you liked this film, you should watch Red Rooms (Plante, 2023). A hidden gem from Canada. Don't read up on it, go in to it blind. I promise you will love it.

  I liked this movie a lot, but I have mixed feelings about doing so. It is always a fine line you have to thread when adapting a real massacre for the screen.   No nostalgia here, since I didn't watch it more than once as a kid. Today I found it really boring. The tempo is way too slow for a film like this, and I usually think today's movies are way too fast. Were this movie skillfully cut it would be a short film. Most characters are boring, if you don't happen to like Bill Murray, which I don't.
