  Strings a narrative so close to comprehension but ultimately doesn’t reach it (orgasm?) 
  Not a critical comment but actually maybe it’s central strength played out through this back and forth fiction non fiction.
  I really liked it and feel fine about not fully getting it. Neither did Jonathan Rosenbaum, evidently.
