"To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life."

I'm gonna be honest here and admit something that I haven't really talked to anybody about: Recently life hasn't been all that amazing. Don't get me wrong, it's not awful by any means, but I feel as if I've been in a rut for a while now. It's rather scary to be…

I don't think I'll be doing any deep-sea diving anytime soon. No thank you...

A lot better than I was expecting. Nothing too out of the ordinary in terms of its execution, but still a rather solid thriller with nail-biting suspense and life-or-death stakes. An odyssey of revenge and a symphony of violence, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga proves that you don't need Max in order to tell a captivating story within this franchise. Indeed, the film thrives in his absence, telling the tale of how our protagonist went from an innocent child snatched from her home by a diabolical egomaniac to a woman forced to change by her experiences. It's fast-paced, presented in gorgeous technicolour detail, and might just be my film of…

I don’t know why, but this film really hit me in a weird way. All the way through, I was thinking about what I’d do on the last day of Earth, and I honestly don’t know whether I’d be with my family, my friends, living out personal fantasies or just waiting for it all to end. Probably the most realistic and poignant depictions of what people would do if the world was ending at midnight, without the cliches of showing the planet exploding around the characters or people trying to stop it. A lot of dark humour, which really helps to make this film.
