Probably my favorite of the fest. Pretty great movie. Probably not a 4 but not a 3.5. I saw Barry Jenkins had a role and had to watch. Loved the cinematography and the acting was mostly great. Hope to see this in theaters at some point.

The Things You Kill 2025
A two hour movie and you decide to not show most of your inciting incident?! I don’t understand what the point of that was. Felt so sloppy. I really wanted to like this movie. I thought the acting was excellent. Maybe some of the best of the weekend. But the plot drags and seems to rush their ending. The ending tries to do something bold but it seems to have no set up and just comes out of nowhere.
