The only real scary vampire concept I have so far encountered in my life and it was presented in a way to keep your attention for the entire long movie length. There are surely some old vampire movie references/callbacks in the cinematography but I'm too uncultured to know them truly or care :^)

The Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa 2002
Out of all the worst movies made of all time, this is the absolute pinnacle of making you want to do anything else than continue watching. I can only headcanon for the sake of my own sane worldview that the makers of this abomination were purposefully trying to create CIA torture media. A reminder of all man-made horrors, this is also the most hilarious thing to laugh at ever.
