Cool concept that imploded in the first (very long) act. Sloppy and nonsensical. By the end, I wanted to cut off my arm too.

Ending was great but getting there was rough. Very dialogue driven for the first hour, followed by complete nonsense in the latter half.
Some decent points were made about religion (and logic I guess? Idk I failed out of that class in college).
Anyway, watch Martyrs (2008). It’s everything this movie tried to be and failed miserably.

women have to do everything..
A tense and aggravating reminder to stop saving face. I wanted a bit more of the lore of James McAvoy but all in all it was a good little thriller and kudos to Mackenzie Davis whose character was absolutely perfect.
