  The monkey stuff was great. Give me more 20 minute segments of monkeys fighting and gesturing and grunting without so much as a subtitle in sight. However: I wish it was wackier which is an insane statement given this is a movie where Godzilla swan dives off Gibraltar after napping in the Coliseum to stop Monkey hitler and rescue the Monkey Miners and minor with Kong who now has the Thanos Glove.

  Average week for my BigLaw friends, I assume.

  Presents a vision of a world where Partners and companies are basically white-collar Corleones. Meaning this is essentially a Tom Hagen movie and I gotta say, I like that.

  Tony Gilroy is a great writer and 2007 was an absolutely stacked year for movies.
