- Elevators, buses, strollers, planes, cop cars, Tuneman’s Jaguar, subway trains. No mode of transportation is safe in SPEED.
- The music carries the energy of the movie so well.
- This movie needs more cops.
- My biggest issue with this movie: not enough of it takes place on the bus.
- The only thing I really got from Keanu’s character is “Shoot the hostage!”
- how do bomb makers come up with the amount of money to demand
- there are too many ultra zoomed-in shots of faces. I don’t know why, it is strange.
- the poster/image/thumbnail for this movie really captures everything.
1. I forget why people hated this movie so much. Maybe no one remembered all the tie-ins to Casino Royale.
2. I swear they re-used the same audio clip of the villain screaming at least three times during the fire scene.
3. So the bad guy supported an overthrow of the government so he could steal water and charge inflated prices? When you have the ability to overthrow governments, there’s gotta be an easier way to make money.
4. And…

2. How did Jim Carrey have this much energy. Half of the movie is him making unintelligible noises, strange faces, and full body gestures.
3. With a little bit more work, they could have got this movie down to 80 minutes flat.
4. I hate child actors.
5. Shouldn’t he be in jail for stopping that plane from taking off?
6. Community property, voiding contracts, continuances, this movie has it all.
Things I’m thinking about after watching this:
1. The vacuuming scene ruined this entire film for me. Seems cheap, like something out of an edgy high schooler’s film class project.
2. Why are the windows on the house so perfect? I know they are Nazis, but everything in this film looked too clean.
3. There’s a lot of swimming.
4. The sound throughout the party scene is well done.
5. The music is wonderful.
6. I think the story could…
