Great build up and then everything goes down hill as soon as the Ian Holm deepfake android shows up. Great looking film for the most part other than that. Probably my favourite set design in an Alien film after Alien 3. So nice to see practical effects and Alien suits again after the CG slop-fest at the end of Covenant. The finale is largely derivative of final confrontations of the other films but I thought the Offspring creature was great. …
