So smart and clever and funny as hell and interesting and every scene beautiful to watch and every emotion experienced in this film- hooray! I really liked it.

Compelling to watch and try to figure out what the hell was going on, but a little too complicated even though well
acted and great costuming and sets. I liked it.

One of the first films I watched with the person I care more about than I knew was possible, this film’s visual qualities stand as somewhere between a documentary style film and a cathartic stream of consciousness dirge expressed musically. From wonder to sadness to joy to fear and hope, all the emotional outpouring is made available through a mintage of rich images and personal yet universal storytelling of human suffering and escape from a kind of ethnic bondage.

Visually exciting. Sets, costume, scenery- all great.

The story, however, presented as a mashup of medieval land grabs and narco-like thuggery and hereditary entitlement, mixed with Islamo-Mormonism apocalyptic and messianic fervor combining a dose of revolutionary Capitalism and somehow romcom energy brought an immensely watchable but never re-watchable movie.

I also liked the popcorn (half butter, half chocolate) and liked Timothy C’s acting and character after he took the red pill from The Matrix.
