  This film is likely to be the point people will look back at as a point of focal shift in animated cinema for the next decade moving forward.
  The unique art style is simple, but layered with what feels like video game influenced motifs especially from minds like Ueda Fumito (Ico, Shadow of the Colossus). The depths that the animation is able to utilise to depict human emotions while maintaining the animalitic nature of the speechless characters is nothing short of mesmerising.

  Each character is so colourful in their presentation and how they interact with those around them. The creative way in which the life of the film is imitated through the desired creation of art, reflecting the reality of life itself is incredible and makes it a joy to revisit

  I went to watch this as a friends recommendation without realising it was a part of Japan's Shin Heroes Universe helmed by Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shin Godzilla).
  The amount of blood was initially startling as Kamen Rider has always been the same vein of over the top flamboyance as Power Rangers/Super Sentai too. But as the film progresses on and these aspects are addressed and communicated, not just being for gory show the film comes into its own…
