The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes 2023
This is my first watch after finally reading the book and while this is a great movie, it's a pretty flawed adaptation. I didn't like how rushed it all felt and I don't think they gave enough time to fully flesh out both coryo and lucy's relationship and coryo and sejanus' relationship. I think it left the movie feeling a bit hollow, especially in the last act where snow's betrayals are supposed to feel like a gut punch. Everything else…

a little contrived but everyone was selling it so idc
A lot of points he was making were tea! where he lost me was the murder. This movie kinda sorta matches a lot of my views on organized religion, which i’ve never seen in a movie before so that kinda gagged me. It also made me feel bad for mormons which gagged me too. Other than some clunky horror movie cliches this was overall pretty good
