  "Let's remake a grindhouse rape/revenge flick from the 70's that actually had some purpose and surprisingly worked as a feminist film, despite it's horribly awful subject matter. EXCEPT, let's remake it for the sole purpose of adding more torture porn into the horror audience's memory banks. AND we'll set it in the backwoods of Hickville, USA, but use actors that barely resemble anything remotely white trash, with hopes that the terrible acting will be saved by even more terrible editing,…

  Gremlins 2: The New Batch 1990

  ★★★ Rewatched 05 Sep 2015

  It starts with a clip of two Looney Tunes icons , letting you know immediately you're about to watch a cartoon version of a Gremlins film. If you view it with that mindset, you'll have a blast. If not, you'll just be forced to watch a terrible Gremlins sequel. Then again, 90% of sequels are unabashedly over-the-top. Regardless, the Rick Baker special effects are top notch.
