  Five stars for 2006 horse girl movies and this cast being so dang COMMITTED!!!!!!

  (Edit: but in reality, only 2.5 stars because the fever dream sequence was cringe. But this did have 7 yr old me believing I too would tame a wild mustang in my suburban Rawlins neighborhood, so points for THAT.)

  Lotta female rage for Elvis. And that our misogynistic society robbed us of this side of the story for so long. Weeeeee.

  Wowowowow. I LOVED this. Love the creativity and level of world building here. The story and message is so timely for me - and so relevant always as an artist who is often lost in the obsession rather than the flow. It’s not just about being present, it’s about the real spark: the miracle of being here. The magic of being alive. The joy of the ordinary. And WAKING UP enough not to miss it.
