    I wanted to like it more than I did but so much just didn’t click with me. 

    I loved Roses tragic, undying love for Pinkie and her arc was a sad one, fleshed out by a very good performance from Andrea Riseborough.

    Speaking of Pinkie he was a weird one for me, there was times in Sam Riley’s performance when I was like dam this is good and other times he felt so overplayed and unrealistic.

    See a lot of criticism from people saying it doesn’t make sense or what’s the point or that it’s a children’s film and little more but I couldn’t disagree more. 

    As someone who isn’t the biggest fan of anime I went into this with a negative mindset but this was great. It simply highlights the innocence and excitement of childhood and the joy of imagination. 

    Film is just so feel good and I couldn’t help but smile at every detail.
