My viewing of this movie has been over a decade in the making 🥹 I'd see shots of it all over Tumblr when I was younger and I could never find it anywhere.
Araki is the king of turning me on with the horniest/funniest scenes ever and then pulling the rug out seconds later and reminding me that I too, was a deeply depressed teenager that had no sense of self and no direction in life.
I want to live in this movie. I feel very seen. I love you Gregg. ❤️

Just about the greatest Pattinson performance of all time (so far).
Feels just as frenetic and immediate as the first time.

What a fucking punch to the gut that I keep coming back to again and again.

I do wish the characters around Romy were fleshed out just a BIT more and the ending felt…

Hmmmmmm. I've been sitting on this one for a full 24 hours and I'm still not sure that I fully understand the weight of it. I felt that way about Call Me By Your Name though too. Luca's work demands multiple watches for me to gain any interiority of the characters. A lot of words are left unsaid. I specifically struggle with the context of this one because I don't know much about Burroughs in real life or much of…
