Super impressed with Osgood Perkins The Monkey, from start to finish I had a great time!

He mastered the fine blend of horror with humour for me, witty one liners that seamlessly fit in to the dialogue of Stephen King's creepy story. Perkins' cinematography and imagery choices also shine through here; striking in parts and subtle in others.

Theo James excelled in his dual role, creating two totally different characters and mastering both of them.

Lots of fun, and a step up from Longlegs imo, but I know it may not be the same for everyone!

    ★★★★½

Kill brings a non-stop fast paced gory action movie to the forefront of Bollywood cinema, with an opening scene that I was so invested in, I was surprised by the title drop 40 minutes in.

With excellent fight choreography and leaving no character safe, it's a movie that deserves attention. Every single character has a part, adding to the narrative throughout.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as I did and it's a movie that seemed to fly under the radar for me, gutted not to have seen this in the cinema!

A tender and nostalgic movie that's wonderfully animated.

A story that shows the feelings around the awkward in-between adolescent stage, depicted through a family beach drama.

I'd love a feature length movie of Été 96, 15 minutes was not enough for me!

Not the usual Ridley Scott style I'm used to, but a movie which the design and colours have to be appreciated.

Admittedly, Tom Cruise felt super out of place which I think kept throwing me off, but it's a pretty simple story that rounds off well enough.

The Substance: What has been used on one side, is lost on the other side. There's no going back.

An energetic, fast paced and well done movie from Coralie Fargeat who manages to blend the Hollywood glamour with the price people pay to have it, the overaching theme of The Substance is always there and Fargeat displays it with minimal dialogue, directing the cast to use their physical acting skills to portray her message.

The sound design and music choices…

    Toros: You go fuck yourself!

Ani: Me go fuck myself? Me fuck myself? You go fuck yourself and your fucking mother, motherfucker!

A roller coaster of emotions is present throughout Anora and Sean Baker melds them all together so well. A movie I was so hyped to see and one that did not disappoint.

With a surprising amount of humour throughout it's run time, it can make you forget what Ani is going through, thanks to the other cast members,…
