  would have been twice as good if they’d cast literally anybody but nicolas cage. when he works he really fuckin works but too often he falls back onto the same nicolas cage-isms we’re used to which is a problem considering the whole movie kinda hinges on his performance.

  if Nicolas Cage hadn’t been in a movie in the last ten years this performance would be mind blowing but watching him do the same things we’ve already seen him himself parody is difficult to take seriously
